Workshop times for FREE half term fun in Pershore

Timetable of activities during our FREE half term event in Pershore Library on 30 October 2014!

From 11am – 11.45am: WORKSHOP & TALK led by Professor Maggie Andrews

Maggie will provide a brief introduction to the history of the local Home Front and lead discussions on how you might get involved in community activity and research. (Booking advisable)

Drop in from 12pm to visit our exhibitors and find out who’s researching what and where, and what funding and resources are available.

12.30pm – Art workshop for children (1 hour), run by Sarah Millin, artist

At 2pm, there will be a performance of First World War music by Andy Casserley

2.30 pm – Art workshop for children (1 hour), run by Sarah Millin, artist

4pm – close

Throughout the afternoon, there will be arts activities and quizzes for young & old alike, led by Jaime Jackson of Salt Road and Sarah Millin, illustrator & artist.

Exhibitors will include the University of Worcester Voices of War & Peace Research Team, the Museum of the Worcestershire Regiment, Worcestershire GirlGuiding UK and National Trust Croome Court.
